who departed this life May 13th 1822,
in the 35th year of her age.

Also of their two sons HENRY and JOHN KING,
the former died Nov 22nd 1818 aged 3 months,
and the latter July 30th 1821,
aged 4 years and 10 months.

Also of MARY, wife of
Lieutenant George WATSON, R.M.
and eldest daughter of
John and Mary King, of this Parish
who died at Stonehouse, Devon,
the 12th of January 1836, aged 25 years.

And also of JOHN KING, Esquire,
of this Parish,
who died July 5th 1853, aged 78 years.

who died the 17th of February, 1892.

COXWELL

Henry Coxwell Memorial, St Peter's

This tablet is placed here to the memory of
The famous aeronaut
HENRY TRACEY COXWELL
For many years a resident of this Parish
Died Jan. 5, 1900, aged 81 years.

Of the many remarkable balloon ascents made by him
for scientific purposes during his long career
the most notable was from Wolverhampton, September 1 1862
when he reached an altitude of seven miles
the greatest height ever attained by man.

Erected by his widow.

The grave of Coxwell & his wife is in Seaford Cemetery. The record height for an ascent without oxygen or pressure-suits has never been broken ]

was struck by lightning at the
spot where this tablet is now
placed in thankful recognition
of the mercy of God in sparing
the fabric from destruction.

PR: George Richard Hardinge aged 3 months, son of Lt Col & Elizabeth Hardinge (44th Regt) buried 12 Oct 1814 ]	ANNE wife of Nicholas Gilbert, gent, died 8th March 1652 NICHOLAS GILBERT, gent, died Febry 25th 1677 [ H15. Two rough slabs were found beneath the chancel floor when it was repaved in 1860. The inscriptions are no longer visible and it is presumed that the slabs were re-interred under the new floor ]
